Last Saturday was our regular monthly food pack distribution, where a group of generous donors come together every month to give to the less privileged in Hougang SMC.
In celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year, Hougang MP Dennis Tan Lip Fong 陈立峰 presented residents with oranges and well wishes. Adding onto the festive mood, the residents received additional festive goodies from various donors including savory sweet pineapple tarts from SCS Dairy Products presented by Mr Delane and team, definitely a must-have during the festive season!
We also have a very kind donor, Mr Andrew Lim and family & friends who distributed red packets to 120 households 🍊🧧🍊
The recipients went home with bags packed with love, care and full of well wishes!
While many of us celebrate this festival with treats and in loving company, some may not be as lucky. We hope to deliver warmth and hope to the less privileged with the limited resources that we have, and we are very grateful for our donors for stepping forward.
